18 U.S.C. § 2257 Compliance Statement

This statement is not a records-custodian notice, because there is nothing here that 18 U.S.C. § 2257 reaches. It says why, and it names who is responsible anyway.

Why the statute does not apply

§ 2257 and § 2257A impose record-keeping duties on producers of visual depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct, performed by real human beings. Nunko publishes no such depiction.

• Nunko is an index of public metadata — a name, a handle, a platform, a category, a link. It is not a content host.
• No sexually explicit visual depiction is created, uploaded, stored or served by Nunko. Listings and imagery on this site are non-explicit by design, not by filter.
• Nunko is building toward publishing work of its own, some of it AI-generated. A generated image has no performer, so there is no performer whose age and identity could be recorded — which is precisely why the obligation attaches to real human depictions and not to those. Should we ever publish a depiction involving a real performer, § 2257 records for that performer will be created and maintained before it is published, and this page will name the custodian. Synthetic work is labelled as synthetic in every case; see the AI disclosure.
• Following an outbound link takes you to a third party who is the producer of whatever is there, and who carries their own § 2257 obligations. We are not that party and do not claim to speak for them.

Publishing a records-custodian notice for material we do not produce would misdescribe what this site is. This page exists so that absence is stated rather than assumed.

What we do hold, and who holds it

Nunko keeps the evidence behind every listing: the address a fact was read from, the time it was fetched, and which platform confirmed a handle. It also records one verdict per account we read — whether the page we built that entry from was her own or a copy of it. A copy is not published as a person.

We hold no age-verification records and no performer documents, because we produce no depiction that would create them. Performer verification and the records behind it belong to the platform a creator publishes on; we read a page it already made public. Enquiries about what we hold go to:

Zero tolerance

Nunko has a zero-tolerance policy toward any depiction of a minor and toward any non-consensual material. A listing we cannot tie to her own page is withheld; absence of evidence is treated as a refusal, never as unknown.
